Worst Storms for 30 years didn't stop gig
Just wanted to say a big Thank you !!!
'' To everyone who braved the weather and floods last Friday evening to come down and see me perform live in Reading at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre.
Whilst the freak storms brought Berkshire and other surrounding counties to a stand still ,I have to say I thought weeks of planning and rehearsals were going to be washed away
As the M4, M25,M40, M3 and every possible road into Reading was grid locked.
The decision to delay the start of the gig by an hour and a half was the right thing do to allow people a little extra time to get to the Madejski.
The phone calls, text messages and emails came flooding in from ticket holders and guests explaining that they weren't going to get to see me play live, as they were stuck in traffic or ''Stranded on train station platforms etc including my entire band !! '' however they did eventually get to me !! has left me with know alternative but to stage another night in Reading over the next few weeks or so.
very special thank you has to go to the Forbury Hotels Mr. Toby Hunter and his fantastic family for not just sponsoring the entire evening but also for coming out to support me and show me their total support.
I must also thank John Hillier and River Event Management for supplying the brilliant light and sound and Mike and all the guys'' you helped make it such a special evening.
And Rob Kenny and his team from Reading 107fm
thank you !!
